Health and Safety Officer

Job description:

We are looking for a Safety Officer in healthcare ensures compliance with health regulations, manages risks, and maintains a safe environment for patients and staff. They perform hazard identification, infection control, and emergency preparedness, 3–5 years of experience in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Risk Mitigation: Identifying and controlling workplace hazards and ensuring proper use of PPE.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to UAE Health & Safety regulations, local authority requirements, and infection control policies.
• Emergency Planning: Coordinating emergency response plans and fire safety drills.
• Training: Conducting safety training, awareness programs, and incident investigations.
• Monitoring: Conducting regular audits of hospital facilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) OSH reporting systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, and analytical problem-solving.
