Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Coder located in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing and accurately coding patient records and healthcare services according to established standards. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and medical terminology, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaborating with health information management teams for accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Coding experience and proficiency in medical coding practices
• Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
• Certified RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) qualification
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and ensure documentation accuracy
• Experience in healthcare compliance and knowledge of UAE coding regulations is a plus
