Medical Coordination Officer

Job Summary
The Medical Coordination Officer will coordinate obtaining Medical Insurance Companies' approvals for patients' surgical procedures and different medical services. He / She will also participate in preparing and reviewing medical insurance claims to ensure completeness, quality, and timely submission to health insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Implement and adhere to Magrabi Health’ policies on Patient Medical Insurance.
- Liaise with insurance companies for approvals of medical procedures and services.
- Monitor approval processes, communicate with medical staff, and notify patients of approval status.
- Ensure service coverage aligns with insurance policies and codes.
- Manage claims processes, verify documents, and coordinate with finance for submissions.
- Review and categorize rejected claims for correction and resubmission.
- Attend training sessions on insurance, patient rights, and internal protocols.
- Follow guidelines regarding Nphies regulations and internal protocols.
- Report technical issues and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent command of English.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Outlook .
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices is an advantage.
