Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies,supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

The Registered Nurse for our Antenata l Department is responsible for providing safe, evidence based nursing care to pregnant women throughout their antenatal journey. The role supports obstetric consultants and midwives in delivering high-quality maternal care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct antenatal assessments (vitals, fetal heart monitoring, CTG as required)
  • Support obstetricians and midwives during clinic visits
  • Provide patient education on pregnancy care, nutrition, and birth preparation
  • Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of antenatal nursing expereince
  • Valid DOH License or eligibility to obtain one
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
  • Conduct antenatal assessments (vitals, fetal heart monitoring, CTG as required)
