Registered Nurse - HAAD

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate, and individualized nursing care to patients in their homes. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to the patient’s health needs while ensuring compliance with HAAD/DOH regulations and the facility’s policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and health education to patients in their home environment.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, progress, and responses to treatment.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HAAD/DOH standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, hygiene, medication, and lifestyle adaptation.
• Manage medical emergencies appropriately and report critical changes in patient condition immediately.
• Ensure proper infection control and safety measures are maintained at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Valid HAAD/DOH license (Abu Dhabi Department of Health).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home care or hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and compassion.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
