Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The Resubmission Officer/Coder is responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records to ensure accurate coding of services and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and correcting coding errors in rejected claims, working collaboratively with healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role involves timely submission of claims and maintaining accurate documentation to optimize reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical coding, including understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards
• Strong knowledge of insurance resubmission processes and claims management
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Excellent communication and time management skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with relevant medical billing software and systems
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, medical billing, or related field preferred
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) and previous work experience in a healthcare setting highly desirable
