SHUTTERING CARPENTER

Job Title: Shuttering Carpenter Department: Construction / Civil Works Reports To: Site Supervisor / Foreman Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to carry out formwork and shuttering works for construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge in preparing, assembling, and dismantling formwork for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations. The role requires the ability to read drawings, work with precision, and ensure safety standards on site. Key Responsibilities: Read and understand construction drawings and shuttering layouts. Measure, cut, and assemble wooden or metal formwork. Install shuttering for slabs, beams, columns, walls, and foundations. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and support before concrete pouring. Dismantle shuttering safely after concrete curing. Repair and maintain shuttering materials for reuse. Coordinate with steel fixers, masons, and site engineers. Follow all safety regulations and company procedures. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Shuttering Carpenter. Knowledge of formwork systems (wooden/steel/aluminum). Ability to read technical drawings. Good knowledge of measurements and calculations. Physically fit for site work. Knowledge of construction safety practices. Preferred Experience: Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or offshore projects. GCC/UAE experience is an advantage Work Location: In person
