Job Title: Spare Parts Executive Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Spare Parts Executive to manage spare parts operations for earth-moving equipment, heavy vehicles, and light vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of spare parts identification, parts diagrams, and part number systems, with hands-on experience in the transport and oil & gas sectors. The role involves ensuring the timely availability of spare parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with suppliers and workshop teams. Key Responsibilities: Identify and source spare parts for earth-moving equipment, heavy vehicles, and light vehicles. Read and interpret spare parts diagrams/catalogs to identify correct components. Maintain accurate records of part numbers, specifications, and inventory levels. Coordinate with workshop, maintenance, and procurement teams for spare parts requirements. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical spare parts. Prepare and process purchase requests, quotations, and supplier follow-ups. Verify spare parts compatibility before procurement and issue. Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules. Ensure proper documentation for inward/outward spare parts movement. Support breakdown and emergency spare requirements for fleet and equipment. Analyze spare parts consumption and prepare reports for management. Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry safety standards. Requirements & Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in spare parts management for earth-moving equipment, heavy and light vehicles. Strong knowledge of spare parts diagrams, EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog), and part number identification. Experience in the transport company and oil & gas sector is mandatory. Good understanding of vehicle and equipment maintenance requirements. Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems for spare parts and inventory management is an advantage. Strong negotiation and supplier coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent operational requirements. Good communication and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of leading equipment and vehicle brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota. Strong analytical skills with expertise in inventory planning, stock control, and spare parts forecasting. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical manuals, spare parts catalogs, and service documents for accurate spare parts identification and procurement. Familiarity with Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) systems and manufacturer spare parts diagrams. Strong coordination skills with workshop, fleet, and procurement teams. Good understanding of spare parts lifecycle, warranty tracking, and supplier management. Ability to handle urgent breakdown requirements and critical spare availability efficiently.
