Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon role based in Ajman. The Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on both elective and emergency cases. Responsibilities include performing orthopedic and spine-related surgical procedures, prescribing and overseeing non-surgical treatment plans, and coordinating pre-operative and post-operative patient care. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in clinical case discussions, and contributing to continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. The Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon will also document clinical findings accurately, adhere to relevant regulatory and hospital policies, and support patient and family education on preventive and rehabilitative care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Orthopedics, with the ability to manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Advanced skills in Orthopedic Surgery and Surgery, including experience with both elective and trauma procedures.
• Specialized experience in Spine-related assessment and interventions is highly desirable.
• Valid medical license or eligibility for specialist registration in the UAE, with compliance to relevant regulatory authorities.
• Completed residency and fellowship (or equivalent) in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in a hospital or specialized orthopedic setting, with a strong record of safe, evidence-based practice.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, adapt to organizational protocols, and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement.
