The Technician - Orthodontics delivers, maintains and develops a high-quality technical service for orthodontic, cl eft lip and palate, and craniofacial patients being treated in Sidra Hospital. The incumbent constructs a range of bespoke specialist orthodontic including:

  • Pressure formed retainers
  • Hawley Retainers
  • Removable Appliances
  • All types of Functional appliances
  • Rapid Maxillary Expansion, Trihelix, Quadhelix and Habit breaker appliances
  • Speech therapy appliances

S/he provides full technological service for orthognathic surgery including model planning and model surgery for mandibular, maxillary and Bi-maxillary procedures.
