Accountant

Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage different financial tasks efficiently and contribute to the overall financial health of the medical center.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping

• Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate financial reports for management to review and make informed decisions.
• Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Compliance and Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Financial Controls

• Monitor operational costs and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Utilize accounting software effectively and safeguard the confidentiality of financial information.

Qualification & Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations .
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
