Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterology (SKMC)

Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary pediatric team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for infants, children, and adolescents with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.

The ideal candidate will possess American Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology and demonstrate proven leadership experience in a tertiary healthcare setting, including service development, quality improvement initiatives, physician mentoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilitie

sClinical Responsibilitie

• sProvide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pediatric gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders
• .Perform and interpret pediatric gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy
• .Manage complex inpatient and outpatient pediatric gastroenterology cases
• .Collaborate closely with pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, neonatologists, dietitians, radiologists, and other specialists
• .Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and case discussions
• .Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with international best practices

• .Support strategic planning, growth, and development of pediatric gastroenterology programs
• .Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
