About the Role

The HIM Trainee will support the Health Information Management (HIM) Department in daily operational and administrative activities related to healthcare services and hospital management. This training program provides practical exposure to health information processes, performance monitoring, coordination activities, and departmental support within a professional healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the HIM department in coordinating daily activities and ensuring smooth workflow within the department.
• Assist in monitoring the availability and continuity of healthcare services in coordination with related departments and organizational units.
• Provide administrative and technical support to the department manager and assist with assigned departmental tasks.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records, reports, and departmental documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
• Participate in departmental projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health services or a related field.

• Good command of the English language (written and spoken).

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Willingness to learn and develop skills within the healthcare and HIM field.
