Job Description

The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of childhood illnesses in accordance with MOHAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients from newborn to adolescence.
• Provide preventive care, including immunizations and routine child wellness check-ups.
• Monitor growth and development and counsel parents on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with MOH regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.
• Stay current with developments in pediatric medicine and participate in continuous professional development.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Recognized Specialization in Pediatrics (MD / DNB / Board Certification or equivalent).
• Valid MOH license or eligibility for Pediatrician category.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience after specialization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach and child-friendly demeanor.
• Fluent in Arabic (English is an advantage).
