Staff Nurse - Labor and Delivery room

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Room Nurse to provide high-quality care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maternity care and must hold a valid DOH license or eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery
• Assist obstetricians and gynecologists during childbirth procedures
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
• Prepare delivery rooms and ensure all medical equipment is sterile and ready
• Handle emergency situations such as fetal distress or complications during labor
• Assist in cesarean sections when required
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate mothers on postnatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and DOH regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or post-basic BSc Nursing (Mandatory)
• Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
