Cost Controlo Accountant

Job Purpose

To monitor, analyze, and control the hospital’s operational costs by reviewing financial data, evaluating cost structures, preparing cost reports, and ensuring expenses are in line with budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and monitor all hospital costs including medical supplies, services, utilities, and labor.

• Analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted/forecasted costs, and report discrepancies.

• Collaborate with procurement and department heads to ensure cost-effective purchasing and inventory control.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cost data.

• Monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending against approved budgets.

• Implement cost control procedures and financial policies in line with hospital standards.

• Recommend cost-saving strategies without compromising patient care quality.

• Conduct cost-benefit analysis on hospital projects and investments.
