Established in 2022, Mubadala Health Dubai offers world-class treatments and advanced technology, facilitated by a clinical team of experts with extensive knowledge and experience. Our state-of-the-art outpatient facility provides day surgery, outpatient consultations, and comprehensive diagnostic services for over 30 clinical specialties
The role is responsible to ensure smooth operations and reporting of the individual asset financial divisions. The role requires providing strategic advice and recommendations on critical financial decisions and commercial transactions, as well as working with cross functional teams on areas that have financial impact to drive better profitability and cash management.
Responsibilities Financial Planning & Performance Management
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecasts aligned to clinical volumes.
Analyze performance drivers such as:
Occupancy & census
Average Length of Stay (ALOS)
Case mix and acuity
Revenue per occupied bed / visit
Provide clear variance analysis with operational context and corrective actions.
Revenue & Cost Analysis
Support revenue optimisation initiatives and leakage identification.
Partner with Revenue Cycle / Billing teams on:
Reimbursement analysis
Payer mix optimisation
Coding / tariff impact assessments
Monitor cost drivers including manpower, medical consumables, drugs, and outsourced services.
Commercial & Strategic Support
Develop business cases, ROI analysis, and sensitivity models for:
New services and programs
Capacity expansion
Equipment and CAPEX investments
Support contract and pricing reviews with payers, vendors, and service providers.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
UAE healthcare regulations (DOH / DHA)
Internal finance policies and DOA limits
Support internal and external audits.
Ensure data integrity between finance, operational, and clinical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional qualification preferred: CA, CMA, CCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA.
Experience
- 6-10+ years of finance experience with strong business partnering exposure.
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospitals, or clinics is highly preferred.
- Dubai / UAE healthcare experience is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Ability to engage non‑finance stakeholders (clinical & operational leaders).
- Solid understanding of healthcare KPIs, tariffs, and cost structures.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge constructively.
