Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive floral design training programs, covering various styles and techniques, ensuring trainees master essential skills.
• Assess trainees' progress through practical exercises and theoretical evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
• Create and update training materials, including manuals, visual aids, and demonstrations, reflecting current industry trends and best practices.
• Demonstrate advanced floral design techniques, from basic arrangements to elaborate installations, inspiring creativity and technical proficiency.
• Provide guidance on flower care and handling, maximizing the longevity and beauty of floral products, minimizing waste.
• Train staff on customer service best practices, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every customer interaction.
• Manage the training environment, ensuring a safe, organized, and inspiring workspace conducive to learning and creativity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design approaches, integrating these into the training curriculum.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify training needs and develop programs that align with business goals and objectives.
• Mentor and coach trainees, fostering their professional growth and helping them develop confidence and expertise in floral design.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Diploma or certification in Floristry or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of floral design principles.
• Has at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a florist, showcasing expertise in various floral arrangement techniques.
• Demonstrates exceptional floral design skills, including proficiency in creating various arrangements, from classic to contemporary styles.
• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying information and providing constructive feedback.
• Has experience in training or mentoring others, indicating a passion for sharing knowledge and developing talent.
• Proficient in using floral design tools and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
• Possesses a strong understanding of flower care and handling techniques, ensuring the longevity and beauty of floral products.
• Demonstrates a creative and artistic flair, with a keen eye for color, composition, and design aesthetics.
• Is fluent in English (both written and spoken), facilitating clear communication with trainees and colleagues.
