Operations Manager – Carpet / Textile Manufacturing

Position Summary

A well-established carpet and textile manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the full spectrum of operational activities, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics. The ideal candidate will drive process efficiency, safety, and product excellence across the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production Management

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations including production, maintenance, and quality assurance
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production workflows to meet delivery timelines
• Ensure optimal resource utilization (manpower, materials, equipment)
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions

Process Improvement & Efficiency

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement programs
• Optimize production processes to reduce waste, downtime, and operational costs
• Develop SOPs and operational guidelines for improved efficiency

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure products meet required quality and technical standards
• Monitor quality control processes and support corrective/preventive actions
• Maintain safety and compliance across the facility according to industrial standards

Logistics & Coordination

• Oversee inventory, material planning, and warehouse operations
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted production
• Support timely dispatch and delivery of finished products

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and operational teams
• Set performance metrics and oversee employee development
• Promote a culture of discipline, safety, and continuous improvement

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production Management, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations leadership (preferably in carpets, textiles, or similar industries)
• Strong knowledge of production planning, factory operations, and quality management
• Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing and efficiency improvements
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
