Job Description Summary

The Senior Emergency Management and Continuity Specialist is responsible for coordinating key initiatives related to disaster management at the JV and Corporate Level – that will benefit JHAH enterprise (Internal Costumers), Saudi ARAMCO, affiliated private contractors, affiliated medical designated facilities (MDF), Saudi ARAMCO third party healthcare providers, and government agencies upon approved requests – in order to ensure seamless processes are in place in the event of catastrophes/disasters. EMAC is part of JHAH accreditation and in compliance with the national governance body of Ministry of Health (MOH), Saudi Commission of Health Specialties (SCHS), and Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI). And in line with the international standards of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Joint Commission International (JCI).

Minimum Education Required

Masters Degree required in related field; PhD/ Fellowship preferred

Professional Certifications Required

Medical and health professional and/or Parallel qualification within the field of EM AND C BDLS/ ADLS/ Decon SCFHS License preferred

Years of Experience

Minimum 10 years and above

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop initiatives to enable JHAH to assume the role as the primary Medical Disaster Responder for Saudi Aramco kingdom wide Support strategic initiatives of less senior personnel and mentor them towards successful achievement

Operational Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement the JHAH Corporate Policy 009 Resilience Emergency Management and Business Continuity EMAC as directed by senior staff
  • Implement activities related to the JHAH Program 002 Emergency Management and Business Continuity Program
  • Coordinate optimal staffing level efforts to enable provision of a qualified team that will provide a 247 support to JHAH Command and Control Center
  • Implement protocols that align JHAH against Saudi Aramco strategic Top Corporate Risk TCR strategic guidelines governed by Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention and Corporate Policy

  • Coordinate activities to enable JHAH to assume the role as the primary Medical Disaster Responder for Saudi Aramco kingdom wide
  • Identify risk mitigation and business continuity standard related challenges across all JHAH facilities and business units
