Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and coordinating effectively with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all technical and engineering activities on-site
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site engineering issues
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of works
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and logs
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in construction/contracting
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software
• Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE project experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit is an advantage
• Experience handling large-scale or multiple projects

Salary

AED 18,000 – 20,000 per month
