Solar Energy Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Solar Energy Specialist to support the design, analysis, implementation, and optimization of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in technical design development, feasibility studies, system sizing, site assessments, and coordination with engineering and project management teams to deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions.

This position requires strong technical expertise in solar system design, grid-tied and off-grid systems, energy modeling, and compliance with local utility regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and size Solar PV systems (commercial & industrial).
• Perform load analysis, inverter selection, battery sizing, and cable sizing.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Conduct energy yield simulations using PVsyst.
• Support solar installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with local utility and grid interconnection standards.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQ, and cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• 3+ years of experience in Solar PV design and installation.
• Strong knowledge of grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems.
• Experience with PVsyst, AutoCAD, and energy storage systems.
• Understanding of solar inverters, lithium batteries, and mounting systems.

Preferred

• Experience in GCC solar projects.
• Knowledge of energy storage and hybrid systems.
• Experience in commercial and industrial solar projects.
