Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with proven expertise in Xero to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure financial compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting using the Xero accounting platform. This role requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting standards
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed
Collaborate with other departments to improve financial systems and processes

Requirements

Proven experience (4+ years) as an Accountant
Proficiency in Xero (certification is a plus)
Experience in Consolidation
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Strong communication and organizational skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Knowledge of personalized medicine and an understanding of biopharma or healthcare-related practices is beneficial.
Experience in event coordination or project management.
