Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in processing supplier invoices and preparing/initiating payments.
• Assist in inter account transfers within company's bank accounts for adhering to cashflow plans.
• Support in salary and payroll processing, including WPS and non-WPS payments.
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash records on fortnightly basis.
• Update and maintain accounting entries in the system (journal entries, bank payments, receipts, etc.).
• Coordinate with suppliers for invoice clarifications and supplier SOA reconciliation.
• Provide support during month-end closing, ensuring accuracy of data and timely submission.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (UAE experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of formulas like SUMIF, VLOOKUP, PivotTables preferred).
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
