Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Arabic Male Accountant with a strong background in public accounting firms and expert knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proficient leader, capable of managing an accounting firm's operations, handling diverse client accounts, preparing full financial statements and audit reports, and ensuring full compliance with UAE, VAT, and Tax regulations through the relevant government portals.
Key Responsibilities
- UAE , Tax, and VAT Compliance Management:
* Serve as the in-house expert on all UAE Value Added Tax (VAT), and Income Tax regulations.
- Financial Reporting and Auditing:
* Lead the preparation of complete and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant KSA accounting standards for various clients with diverse business activities.
* Coordinate and manage the full audit cycle for clients, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors.
* Prepare detailed audit reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
* Perform complex financial analysis, reconciliation, and internal control reviews.
- Firm and Client Account Management:
* Manage and oversee the accounting operations of the firm, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
* Handle a diverse portfolio of client accounts across multiple industries and different business activities (e.g., trading, services, contracting).
* Develop and implement standardized accounting procedures and best practices for the firm and its clients.
* Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior accounting staff.
- Leadership and Communication:
* Act as a leader within the firm, fostering a culture of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism.
* Communicate financial and compliance matters clearly and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain fluent professional communication in English (written and spoken) for reports, external correspondences, and international clients.
- System Proficiency:
* Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of multiple accounting software platforms (e.g., ERP systems, popular accounting packages).
* Utilize MS Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and modeling.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, SOCPA, or CMA certification is a strong plus).
* Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Accountant, preferably with substantial experience ([Specify Min. Years, e.g., 5+ years]) within a reputable accounting or auditing firm in UAE
* Technical Skills: Expert in financial statement preparation (IFRS/SOCPA), audit report preparation, and financial analysis. Proficiency in various accounting software.
* Language: Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and verbal) is essential.
* Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and integrity.
* Availability: Ability to join immediately is required.
The stated salary range will be determined based on the candidate's final experience, qualifications, and interview performance.
