Job Description Summary
The Associate Industrial Hygienist perform activities of the implementation, coordination, and day.-to.-day of the industrial hygiene program in all JHAH facilities Directly work as industrial hygienist.

- Assist and participate with conducting Occupational Health Hazard Assessment OHHA program via Industrial Hygiene activities such as surveys and associated samplings
- Assist and participate with conducting effective mitigation of workplace hazards
- Assist and participate with conducting review of policies and procedures and the periodic review of those policies and procedures from an Industrial Hygiene standpoint
- Assist and participate with conducting testing and certification of engineering controls including but not limited to airborne infection isolation rooms for the effective control of chemical and biological agents
- Assist and participate with conducting administration of design reviews from an Industrial Hygiene standpoint for projects associated with building construction renovations and engineering controls
- Assist and participate with conducting pharmacy clean room testing programs to comply with US Pharmacopeia standards
- Assist and participate with conducting programs to ensure chemical and biological safety via compliance with the JHAH Hazardous Materials and Waste Management program for example hazardous materials inventory storage safety data sheets etc
- Assist and participate with conducting programs and schedules to evaluate workers exposure to chemicals
- Assist and participate with conducting corrective actions to address worker overexposures
- Assist and participate with conducting respiratory protection program to control workers exposures to airborne contaminants
- Assist and participate with conducting training programs related to Industrial Hygiene to raise the level of worker safety awareness in JHAH
- Assist and participate with conducting programs to address indoor air quality IAQ issues including mold in JHAH facilities
- Assist and participate with conducting application of advanced technical methodologies and best practices to workplace hazards to comply with Saudi governmental rules and regulations Saudi Aramco general instructions and JHAH accrediting agencies
- Assist and participate with conducting emergency response scenarios and drills to comply with MOH requirements and the JHAH Emergency Response Plan Code Orange
Minimum Education Required
A Bachelor Degree in Industrial Hygiene or similar field, such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental and Occupational Safety or Occupational Hygiene, from an accredited university
Professional Certifications Required

Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Environmental Health
