Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista Course Instructor to deliver practical and engaging barista training programs. The instructor will be responsible for teaching foundational to advanced coffee-making skills, ensuring learners gain both technical competence and industry-ready professionalism aligned with café and hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured barista training sessions covering espresso preparation, milk texturing, latte art, and beverage presentation
• Teach coffee fundamentals, including bean types, grinding, extraction, and brewing methods
• Demonstrate proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of espresso machines and barista equipment
• Train learners on customer service, café workflow, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Assess learner performance through practical demonstrations and skills evaluations
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises aligned with course outcomes
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and hands-on learning environment
• Stay updated with current coffee trends and industry best practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional barista experience in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality settings
• Experience delivering training, workshops, or coaching in a training center or similar environment is preferred
• Strong practical knowledge of espresso-based beverages and specialty coffee preparation
• Excellent communication and instructional skills, with the ability to engage adult learners
• Barista certification or hospitality-related qualifications are an advantage
