Job Description Summary

The Cardiac Care Nurse 1 is an entry.-level role providing basic nursing care in the assigned nursing unit and is responsible for assisting senior staff in patient management .- which includes but is not limited to adhering to established protocols developing foundational nursing skills and supporting the Nursing Unit in required tasks as needed .- in order to support the Nursing organization.

  • Support various nursing tasks including patient preparation and basic care delivery
  • Monitor patient conditions and ensure safety during routine tasks
  • Achieve andor Maintain the mandated set of activities for level 1 which is a minimum total of 10 points in at least two categories within each 12month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement evaluate and document patient care from admission through discharge specific to the patients age
  • Provide nursing care patientfamily education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patients privacy dignity personal preference and culture demonstrating acceptance caring and empathy utilizing appropriate resources when applicable
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations by utilizing clinical skills critical thinking and evidencebased practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy patient safety and comfort while maintaining a safe clean and organized environment for the patient familyvisitors and staff
  • Administer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy medications following the completion of the chemotherapy competency and requirements
  • Utilize standard guidelines and policy to assess develop and implement nursing care plan and evaluate the outcome for Palliative Care and Cellular Therapy patients

Minimum Education Required

International Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); or actively pursuing BSN with formal academic transcript submission

Professional Certifications Required

Current licensure as a professional registered nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Years of Experience

Up to 2 years of Nursing or Clinically related experience

Languages

English:Fully Proficient ; Arabic:Preferred
