Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Coding role located in Alsalamah. The responsibilities of the Clinical Coder include reviewing medical records and documents to assign accurate clinical codes, ensuring compliance with all relevant coding standards and procedures. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to verify codes and contributing to the refinement of coding policies. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate patient records and optimizing the hospital's billing system.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Medicine and Clinical Research
• Proficiency in Research and Training related to clinical coding and healthcare practices
• Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with medical and administrative staff
• Attention to detail and accuracy in assigning clinical codes
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and coding standards
• Relevant certification in medical coding or a related field is highly desirable
• Prior experience working in a healthcare environment would be an advantage
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
