Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical experience in the UAE and a strong background in clinical nutrition, dietary counselling, weight management, and personalised nutrition planning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing customised diet plans, providing evidence-based nutritional counselling, and supporting patients in achieving their health, wellness, and weight-management goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments based on patients' medical history, lifestyle, dietary habits, and health goals.
• Develop personalised nutrition and diet plans based on individual patient needs and clinical conditions.
• Provide professional dietary counselling and nutrition education to patients.
• Support patients with weight management, obesity management, healthy lifestyle modification, and metabolic health.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for conditions including diabetes, hypertension, PCOS, cardiovascular conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and other nutrition-related conditions.
• Monitor patients' progress and regularly review and modify diet plans as required.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on sustainable dietary habits, portion control, meal planning, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Stay updated with current clinical nutrition guidelines, evidence-based practices, and developments in nutrition and wellness.
• Participate in wellness programmes, health awareness activities, and nutrition-related initiatives conducted by the medical centre.
• Ensure all clinical services are provided in accordance with DOH regulations and professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant clinical dietitian experience in the UAE.
• Valid DOH License.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, medical nutrition therapy, and weight management.
• Experience in patient counselling and developing personalised nutrition plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong documentation and organisational skills.
