About the Opportunity

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are continuing to establish themselves as regional leaders in complex tertiary care. Several major private healthcare providers are investing in advanced transplant and hepatobiliary programs. We are seeking a senior consultant surgeon experienced in HPB and liver-transplant surgery to join a next-generation hospital group building these high-acuity services in the UAE.

Role Overview

• Lead or co-lead multidisciplinary HPB / liver-transplant service lines.

• Collaborate with critical-care, anesthesia, and hepatology teams to deliver integrated pre- and post-transplant care.

• Contribute to program development, clinical protocols, and governance aligned with international best practice.

• Mentor surgical residents and fellows within a teaching environment.

• Participate in outreach, CME, and medical-tourism initiatives supporting Dubai and Abu Dhabi’s healthcare-excellence agenda.

Ideal Background

• Board-certified consultant in HPB or liver-transplant surgery (FRCS, CCT, American/European board, or equivalent).

• Minimum 8–10 years post-qualification experience with a track record in tertiary or transplant centers.

• Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary teams and complex case management.

• Fluent English; Arabic or additional languages are advantageous.

• Eligibility for UAE DOH/DHA consultant licensure.
