Consultant Interventional Cardiologist – Dubai

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular diseases using advanced interventional techniques, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered cardiac care.

The ideal candidate will work within a multidisciplinary cardiac team and contribute to excellence in interventional cardiology services, including coronary and structural heart interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including coronary angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, and complex coronary interventions.
• Manage acute cardiac emergencies such as myocardial infarction and unstable angina.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations.
• Participate in structural heart interventions where applicable (e.g., TAVI, ASD/PFO closure).
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine, ICU, radiology, and other specialties for comprehensive cardiac care.
• Interpret advanced cardiac investigations including ECG, echocardiography, CT coronary angiography, and stress testing.
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term cardiac care plans.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, and international cardiac care guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuing medical education activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA Dubai.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Cardiology with subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology.
• Valid DHA Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in Cardiology.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post-fellowship experience in interventional cardiology within a tertiary care or high-volume cardiac center.
• Strong expertise in coronary interventions and cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Excellent clinical judgment, procedural skills, and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in structural heart interventions (TAVI, MitraClip, device closures).
• Exposure to high-volume cath lab environments.
• Academic, teaching, or research experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural healthcare environment.
