About the Company

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician to join our expanding Pediatric Neurosciences and Developmental Medicine services. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, working within a multidisciplinary, family-centered care model. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced pediatric neurodevelopmental programs within a leading JCI-accredited tertiary hospital.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, working within a multidisciplinary, family-centered care model.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist evaluation and management for children with neurodevelopmental conditions including:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Global developmental delay
  • Learning disorders
  • Behavioral and cognitive disorders
  • Conduct developmental assessments and create individualized management plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Pediatric Neurology, Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Rehabilitation Services.
  • Participate in service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and education to families and caregivers.
  • Contribute to teaching, research, and academic activities where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with DHA and hospital standards.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree with recognized Western Board / UK CCT / European Board / Equivalent Tier 1 qualification.
  • Fellowship or subspecialty training in Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics / Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics.
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience at Consultant level in a tertiary care setting.
  • DHA License or Eligibility preferred.
  • Strong multidisciplinary and family-centered approach to care.
