DEFINITION OF THE FUNCTION AND MISSION

As part of the Global Clinique La Prairie family, and reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, hygiene, and presentation across the resort.

The role is key in delivering a seamless luxury guest experience, aligned with CLP’s values of excellence, wellness, discretion, and attention to detail. You will lead, train, and develop the housekeeping team while ensuring efficient daily operations, optimal inventory management, and strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.

RESPONSABILITES

  • Define, implement, and regularly update housekeeping standards, procedures, and SOPs in line with CLP brand requirements
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable department operations, monitoring work quality and performance
  • Lead, train, motivate, and develop the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Prepare the annual cleaning plan and organize daily cleaning schedules
  • Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of:
  • Guest rooms
  • Public areas
  • Clinical and wellness areas
  • Offices and staff facilities
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal cleanliness, comfort, and guest wellbeing throughout the property
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Office to ensure smooth guest arrivals, departures, and in-stay experiences
  • Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and responsiveness
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Department regarding maintenance issues, preventive servicing, and repairs
  • Manage housekeeping inventories, including linen, uniforms, equipment, and cleaning products
  • Ensure adequate quality, quantity, and cleanliness of linen for rooms, restaurants, spa, and clinical areas
  • Ensure proper supply, quality, and maintenance of staff uniforms
  • Supervise external suppliers to guarantee quality standards and timely delivery of flowers, amenities, and daily essentials

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Executive Housekeeper role within a renowned international luxury hotel brand
  • Strong technical knowledge of housekeeping standards, products, and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
  • Proven leadership and people-management capabilities
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Confident decision-making ability in a fast-paced luxury environment
  • Hands-on, approachable, and structured management style
  • Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and motivate teams to high performance standards
