Role Description The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnosis, preventive care, restorative treatments, and minor surgical procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals, and educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive strategies. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to local regulatory and infection control standards, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. The General Dentist will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the development of patient-centered dental services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajman.

Qualifications

• Clinical dentistry skills, including diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, restorative procedures, and minor oral surgery.
• Proficiency in patient communication, education, and counseling, with the ability to explain treatment options and obtain informed consent.
• Strong adherence to infection control protocols, clinical safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams and contribute to quality improvement activities.
• Recognized dental degree (BDS or equivalent) and valid professional license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the UAE (DHA/MOH/HAAD/DHCC as applicable).
• Prior experience as a general dentist in a clinical setting; experience in the UAE healthcare system is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage patient caseloads efficiently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to adopting new techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices.
