Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Functional Medicine Practitioner located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Functional Medicine Practitioner will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients using a holistic approach that addresses the root causes of illnesses. Daily tasks include developing personalized treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing lifestyle and nutritional guidance, and monitoring patient progress. The practitioner will ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain detailed medical records.
Qualifications
- Experience in functional medicine, integrative medicine, or holistic health
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop personalized treatment plans
- Professional expertise in nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and patient education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with appropriate board certification
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- Willingness to adhere to local health regulations and standards
