This role is responsible to assist in the delivery of holistic care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, or other registered clinician. The role should be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the interdisciplinary team and promotes a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence-based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the specialty within the scope of practice. The role should also support the registered nurse or other registered clinician in the safe, effective and efficient management of the department with allocated resources. Responsibilities Support the implementation and evaluation of patient care in line with organizational policies, procedures, and scope of service. Maintain accountability for professional actions, work within defined scope of practice, and uphold continued competence. Provide evidence‑based, patient‑ and family‑centered care under appropriate supervision. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care throughout the patient’s episode of care. Monitor patient conditions, report significant changes to registered clinicians, and take appropriate actions within scope. Advocate for patient rights, dignity, safety, and protection of vulnerable individuals, escalating concerns when needed. Assist with daily living activities, hygiene needs, and meal distribution as directed by registered nurses or clinicians. Respond to emergencies per organizational protocols and use resources responsibly within a cost‑effective framework. Qualifications High School degree OR Diploma in a relevant field Preferably with experience in the healthcare industry in similar role
