Role Definition and Mission

The IT Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of all hospitality, clinical, and back-office technology systems. This position bridges the gap between daily technical support and strategic infrastructure management, acting as a primary point of escalation to guarantee high availability of guest-facing technologies and operational platforms. The IT Supervisor is essential in maintaining digital service standards, ensuring an uninterrupted and luxurious technology experience for all guests while supporting staff efficiency during both the pre-opening phase and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically required within the luxury hospitality, resort, or high-end clinic sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and troubleshooting hotel-specific systems , Project and pre-opening
  • Fluent in English and Arabic language.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in hospitality software suites, deep understanding of network architectures (LAN/WAN, wireless arrays), data center, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Soft Skills: Proven team management capabilities. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Excellent communication abilities, specifically the skill to translate complex technical issues into clear terms for non-technical management and staff. Strong organizational and priority management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily IT operations, monitoring both front-of-house (guest-facing) and back-office network infrastructure.
  • Act as the official representative for the IT Manager during his absence, ensuring uninterrupted departmental operations, and actively shadow his daily duties to support property needs.
  • Provide technical support for core hotel property management systems, integrated clinical platforms, back-office systems and corporate systems.
  • Ensure continuous uptime and compliance for all systems and applications.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware, software licenses, and peripherals across the property.
  • Supervise and mentor IT helpdesk staff, ensuring timely resolution of guest and staff technical issues in alignment with established service level agreements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce comprehensive IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the property.
  • Participate actively in the configuration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of new property systems prior to the official launch.
  • Assist the IT Manager with the deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of network architecture, including Wi-Fi, switches, and server infrastructure.
  • Monitor daily system backups, verify disaster recovery protocols, and ensure strict compliance with data security standards, including PCI-DSS for payment terminals and local data privacy regulations.
  • Conduct IT onboarding and regular technology training sessions for non-technical hotel associates to ensure the proper use of hardware, software, and basic cybersecurity best practices.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with external vendors, contractors, and partners for routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, and new technological deployments.
