Job Description: Driver for Home Healthcare Services

Job Summary

The Home Healthcare Driver is responsible for safely transporting doctors, nurses, caregivers, medical equipment, and laboratory samples to and from patients’ homes, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories across Dubai , Sharjah , Ajman, Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas. The driver plays a vital role in ensuring timely healthcare delivery while maintaining high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient safety.

Key ResponsibilitiesTransportation Duties

• Safely transport healthcare professionals to patient locations according to assigned schedules.
• Deliver and collect medical equipment, medications, and consumables.
• Transport laboratory specimens to partner laboratories while maintaining sample integrity.
• Assist in loading and unloading medical equipment and supplies.

Vehicle Management

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including fuel, oil, tires, brakes, and cleanliness.
• Ensure the vehicle is always clean, sanitized, and presentable.
• Maintain service schedules and report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and trips.

Administrative Duties

• Follow assigned routes and schedules using GPS and dispatch instructions.
• Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures where required.
• Submit trip sheets, fuel receipts, Salik, and parking records.
• Report delays, accidents, or unusual incidents to management promptly.

Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to UAE traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Ensure safe handling of sensitive medical items and specimens.
• Follow infection control and hygiene protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in Dubai.
• Good knowledge of Dubai roads, communities, and traffic regulations.
• Experience in healthcare, courier, or medical transport is preferred.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic or Urdu/Hindi is an advantage.
• Ability to use GPS and smartphone applications.
• Clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

• 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
• On-call availability for urgent assignments.

Salary and Benefits

• 3200 - 3300 aed / Month.
• No Accommodation / No Transport
• Overtime pay as per UAE labor law.

• 12 hour shift

Typical Daily Tasks

• Pick up nurses and doctors from the office.
• Drive to patient homes throughout Dubai.
• Deliver blood samples to diagnostic laboratories.
• Complete end-of-day vehicle and trip reports.
• Keeping the Car Clean from Inside and Outsite.

About the Role

Pay: AED3,200.00 - AED3,300.00 per month
