Network Engineer

About the Role

Al Salama Hospital is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our ICT Infrastructure team. The role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and high-availability network connectivity across the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).

• Monitor network performance, security logs, and availability.

• Manage firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and secure network access.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with minimal disruption.

• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and compliance standards.

• Support 24/7 operations and on-call activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of Network Engineering experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field.

• Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto certifications preferred.

• SEC registration required for non-Saudi candidates.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNP).

• Cisco ISE & Network Access Control.

• Palo Alto & Fortinet Firewalls.

• OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs & DMZs.

• Avaya IP Telephony.

• VMware, Linux & Windows Administration.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
