Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, psychological, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), work skills, and community participation.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical expertise in patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.

Education & Professional Development

• Maintain Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements and professional licensure.
• Participate in peer reviews, clinical education, and mentoring activities.
• Support competency development of junior staff and students when required.
• Stay up to date with current research and best practices in Occupational Therapy.

Patient Care & Rehabilitation

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies, adaptive techniques, and equipment use.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and environmental modifications.
• Support discharge planning and community reintegration.

Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and risk management activities.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Eligible for or holding a valid NHRA license or Data flow to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 6-8 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases, or long-term care is highly desirable.
