Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Outpatient and Inpatient Approval Coders will be responsible for reviewing and translating medical documentation into accurate coding for insurance and billing purposes. Key daily tasks include ensuring compliance with medical coding guidelines, verifying the accuracy of codes, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation. Coders will also assist in facilitating approvals and managing patient records efficiently.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge and application of Medical Coding and Medical Terminology
• Experience in Health Information Management and proficiency in Coding
• CPC certification or equivalent, showcasing expertise in medical coding best practices
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and proficiency in coding software tools
• Proficiency in English communication; Arabic language skills are an advantage
• Relevant certification or diploma in medical coding or a related healthcare field
