MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To lead and monitor the delivery of effective and efficient pharmacy services in line with company and regulatory standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS To provide strong leadership to the pharmacy team
To ensure effective and efficient dispensing of medication in line with regulatory requirements and standards
To ensure effective inventory management practices are implemented, monitored and managed and stock is managed accordingly
To ensure compliance with related requirements set by the authorities and company to ensure quality and risk mitigation standards are adhered to
Manage and monitor Pharmacy budget and finances
Required Education A B. Pharm degree from an accredited institution and licensed as a Pharmacist with the relevant UAE healthcare authority
Master degree from an accredited institution will be an advantage
Required Experience At least 3 years management experience in a Pharmacy of which at least 2 years has been in a hospital environment
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
- Demonstrate a good understanding and application of all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and policies
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry and pharmaceutical product knowledge
- Patient experience principles and related best practice
- Stock management and control
- Commercial awareness
