Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations to identify abnormalities and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Utilize photographs and verbal descriptions to accurately understand patients' aesthetic goals and establish clear expectations.
• Educate patients about the risks, benefits, and potential outcomes of surgical procedures.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care instructions and recommendations.
• Assess patients' psychological well-being to ensure suitability for cosmetic procedures and address any potential concerns.
• Perform invasive plastic surgeries as authorized by MOPH, ensuring strict adherence to established surgical techniques.
• Inspect the operating room and medical instruments to verify cleanliness and sterility.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses and associate plastic surgeons.
• Consult with other plastic surgeons and medical professionals to exchange knowledge and expertise.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, considering common side effects and contraindications.
• Adhere to all relevant Qatari laws and regulations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Masters in Plastic Surgery.
• Licensing: QCHP license as a Plastic Surgeon.
• Surgical Expertise: Proficient in a wide range of surgical techniques, including implantable devices, microsurgery, flap surgery, skin grafting, and tissue expansion.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plastic surgeon.
• Specialized Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in reconstructive surgery.
• Medical Knowledge: Broad understanding of common medications, side effects, and contraindications.
• Patient Care: Exceptional patient management skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
