QA/QC Manager

Job Title: QA/QC Manager – Construction

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: Up to AED 25,000 per month (Based on experience)

Experience: Minimum 10 years of UAE experience (Mandatory)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have extensive UAE construction experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead the QA/QC team and oversee all quality-related activities across multiple projects.
• Prepare and monitor Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications, UAE regulations, consultant requirements, and international quality standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, technical documents, and inspection reports.
• Monitor site inspections, testing activities, and quality documentation.
• Investigate quality issues, prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and submitted.
• Mentor and supervise QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors.
• Prepare quality performance reports and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of UAE construction experience, including experience in a QA/QC Manager role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, authority regulations, and quality requirements.
• Experience managing quality for high-rise, commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Thorough understanding of QA/QC procedures, material inspections, testing standards, and documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of QA/QC management software is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• Membership in a recognized engineering body is preferred.
