QC Lab Technician – Medical Devices

Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite – Full Time)
Nationality: Any nationality currently based in Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical, functional, and dimensional testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished medical devices in accordance with SOPs and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Conduct sterility, packaging integrity, and related laboratory evaluations where applicable.
- Accurately document test results in laboratory records, LIMS, or ERP systems.
- Prepare test reports and report any non-conformities to the QA team.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality system procedures.
- Support internal audits by maintaining proper laboratory documentation and records.
- Assist in investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to product deviations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and test method validations.
- Support and guide junior laboratory staff when required.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a medical device quality control laboratory.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, equipment handling, and quality documentation practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and medical device quality requirements is preferred.
