Radiography Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiography Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The Radiography Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate image production to support clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic examinations as assigned
• Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control protocols
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment according to established standards
• Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting to the Radiologist
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with DOH regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to quality assurance and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Valid DOH license as a Radiography Technician
• ARRT certification (or equivalent, if applicable)
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience with PACS and digital imaging systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic setting
• Experience with additional imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI)
• BLS certification
• Strong patient care and customer service skills
