Registered Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD) to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient setting while ensuring compliance with the standards of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), organizational policies, and professional nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document medical history, vital signs, and clinical findings.
• Prepare patients for physician consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
• Assist physicians during consultations and outpatient procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices are followed.
• Coordinate referrals, laboratory investigations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up care.
• Maintain adequate supplies and ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Active DoH Registered Nurse License or DoH Eligibility Letter.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic, primary healthcare, family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty clinic.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).

Pay: AED1,111.00 - AED2,222.00 per month
