Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and year-end financial closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Process monthly payroll, leave salary, and end-of-service benefits in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Prepare VAT and Corporate Tax returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support external audits and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Assist with ERP system improvements and finance process automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CA Inter, ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
  • Experience with treasury management, payroll, and MIS reporting.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Zoho).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
