Senior Accountant

Harmony Medical Group is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations across our medical facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain compliance with UAE regulations, and support management in strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, and internal policies
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial transactions
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Review and verify financial documents, invoices, and expense reports
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Support management with financial insights and recommendations
• Supervise junior accounting staff when required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA is an advantage)
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the healthcare sector
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and professionalism

Preferred Skills

• Experience in medical group or multi‑branch financial operations
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, insurance claims, and revenue cycle management
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
